About Us

Our History

The Great Southern Badminton Association was formed in 2022 to reinvigorate Badminton in the Great Southern region.
Since then, Albany based membership has increased and our aim is for the same in other centres across the region.
We have increased participation in our long-standing August Tournament and started the new Great Southern Invitational Tournament in 2023. After a long hiatus seasonal pennants competitions have been started to help improve the level of badminton played in the region.

Our Vision is for more people, playing badminton more often, anywhere, anytime.

Our Purpose is to support our badminton clubs and groups to encourage active and healthy participation, and most of all to have fun and stay connected.
