The native animal mascots are back! the four teams are, the Possums, Quokkas, Kangaroos and Bandicoots.
Spring pennants introduced two changes to previous pennants. Teams will now be able to choose which game each pair played and indivuduals competed for the best player.
This season was amongst our closest pennants competition, once again there were some really close sets with the third game required to determine a winner.
Everybody's commitment to fair play, respect for their opponents, and camaraderie both on and off the field was heartening.
Each player epitomize the true spirit of sportsmanship and goodwill during the whole season.
The best player competition was extremely close with a handful of players jumping into the lead early on.
Round one saw an awesome start from Jerry, Lucas and Kathy. By the second week some Zalita had joined Lucas in top position. After the third week things were really getting close with Kathy in the lead, followed closely by Zalita and Lucas and a handful of other players hot on their heals. Leaving several players in contention leading into the finals, with a good performance from any of them allowing them to to take the top spot.
After the finals round dust had settles there were three individuals with the same number of wins! A consistent performance from Andrew, Zalita and Kathy meant a count back was needed. After the count back Kathy was crowned the inaugural winner of the best player award.

The third round results reinforced how even the teams were becoming, with the Possums and Kangaroos winning 3 games each! The Quokkas were lucky to win four games to two against the Bandicoots, leaving 2nd and 3rd placed teams on level pegging! On a count back the Green Possums took the converted second spot to play off for the championship against the Possums. Leaving the Bandicoots to fight it out against the Kangaroos, for third & fourth place.
The finals saw some changes to the team line-ups with Boney filling in for Sam and Michelle filling in for Louis. The Bandicoots defeated the Kangaroos in the play-off for the minor places, four games to two. The play-off for first and second saw a reversal of the first round, with the Quokkas dominating the Possums five games to one!
